Founder & Instructor<\/h4>\n

Kurt Budliger is the founder and lead instructor at Green Mountain Photographic Workshops. \u00a0Kurt \u00a0has been photographing the natural landscape for over 30 years and has been a professional photographer for the past 20. \u00a0His photographs and articles have appeared in numerous books, calendars, advertising campaigns, magazines and are routinely used by non-profit conservation organizations working to protect wild lands. His clients have included Outdoor Photographer, Popular Photography, National Geographic Adventure, Outside Magazine, Backpacker Magazine, Vermont Life Magazine, Eastern Fly Fishing, the Drake, Patagonia, 1% for the Planet, Trout Unlimited, Trust for Public Land, The Nature Conservancy, and many more.<\/p>\n

Kurt has been a professional educator for well over 30 years. \u00a0Prior to becoming a professional outdoor photographer and workshop leader, Kurt was an outdoor and environmental educator, interpretive naturalist, guide and then a middle school science teacher in Vermont. \u00a0He holds a BS in Natural Resources from Colorado State University and an MS in Teaching from Plattsburgh State University. \u00a0He continues to teach digital photography with Vermont State Colleges at the Community College of Vermont in Montpelier. \u00a0When he’s not out in the field making images, he can be found mountain biking, skiing and fly fishing \u00a0in his adopted home state of Vermont. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Benjamin Williamson<\/h3>\n

Instructor<\/h4>\n

Ben lives in Newcastle, Maine with his wife and three young children, as well a dog and a cat named Ansel (what else would a photographer name a cat…). He started taking photographs seriously in 2012 and has barely put the camera down ever since. A lifelong love of history and following the ever changing weather have combined in photographs that feature classic Maine and New England scenery in beautiful light and unusual conditions. Ben’s greatest pleasure these days is to share that joy and love of photography with others. He spends most of his time from June to October, leading photography workshops and tours across Maine, from the Allagash River to Monhegan Island.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prints of his work can be seen in major institutions such as Maine Medical Center, Intermed, Bangor Savings Bank, and many others. \u00a0Ben’s extensive editorial archive regularly graces the pages of Down East Magazine.<\/p>\n

Joseph Rossbach has been a professional landscape photographer for over twenty years. Joe\u2019s photographs and articles have appeared in books, calendars and magazines including Outdoor Photographer, The Nature Conservancy, Digital Photo, Photo Techniques, Popular Photography, Blue Ridge Country, Mountain Connections, Natures Best Photography, Digital Photo, Landscape Photography, Explore, Backpacker Magazine and many more.<\/p>\n

Joe is also a co-author and contributing photographer two print books, The Ultimate Guide to Digital Nature Photography (Mountain Trail Press) and 50 Amazing Things You Must See and Do in the Greater D.C. Area, The Ultimate Adventure Guide. Joe continues to travel extensively producing new and exciting images of the natural world as well as leading many\u00a0photography workshops and photo tours each year.<\/p>\n
